I'll be honest; I wasn't sure if it was appropriate to send this newsletter out (I wrote it last week ;)) given all that is going on this week, but I decided to send it anyway! ;) (Click on the #BlackLivesMatter icon at the bottom for more info ;))
We've all been going through our Quarantine Empowerment Journey. A Vision Quest, Soul Seeking, and for some of us, Survival.
In the very beginning of March, I was asked to officiate my first Wedding! It was someone I had met at a Lizzy Jeff party (by the way, her book Principles & Potions for Peace, Purpose, & Prosperous Living is SOOO good).

And I owned, that YES, I am an Ordained Minister!!!! In fact, I have been since 2007. I'm ordained through the Universal Life Church, which is very interfaith, and accepting of all couples and traditions.
You might know me as a Jewish spiritual author, a member of the Agape International Choir (a New Age gospel choir in Los Angeles), and an Agape Prayer Warrior (that Affirmative Prayer I offer at Phoenix & Dragon Bookstore, on Facebook, and my YouTube!)
Officiating a wedding was EVERYTHANG for me! It combined my love of LOVE, first of all (I named my Award-Winning Raw Chocolates, Hot Love Chocolate Truffles, and infuse them with Reiki and Stevie Wonder songs ;))... my Life Coaching skills to meet with the couple beforehand to plan everything out, my Ritual Writing skillz and passion that I used to create Open-Eyed Heart-Wide Haggadah, my love of Affirmative Prayer, and of course, my love of LIVE EVENTS! ;)
This was a unique, futuristic experience, as it was a Social Distancing Wedding that was mostly on Zoom. ;)
There were a few select people in person, mostly the families of the bride and groom, and the Bridesmaids and Best Men (and they were socially distanced ;)) and then there were over 100 people on Zoom!
People came to the Zoom Wedding dressed to the nines, it was really quite beautiful and touching!
We combined the couple's Christian background with their love of Earth-based spirituality, Cosmic Consciousness, and Affirmative Prayer.
I loved writing the service, and being with them on their special day!
They had pro film industry connections, so the video cameras were everywhere, and the recording they created of both the in-person ceremony, and the Zoom guests, was fire! ;)
I am REALLY looking forward to doing more of these! From Christian, to Jewish, to New Thought, to Pagan/ Earth-based Spirituality, and more, I am pretty much comfortable with many traditions, and LOVE creating a ceremony that both speaks to the Bride/s and Groom/s, and also doesn't scare away the family. ;)
