Wow. These are some crazy times. If you've been paying attention to global events + national news (regardless of where you stand) + feeling the Full Moon energy, you may be asking, as I have,
How do I stay sane + positive in these transitional times?
I learned quickly that engaging in political conversations on social media was not working for me. ;) Though I wanted to be in conversation + connect with others, it caused me + others more suffering than good. (Almost like a war of the opinions on facebook... ;))
A good friend asked me, "Are you sacrificing your own serenity for this?" And to tell you the truth, I was.
Literally, I had an overnight transition.
I woke up + decided that if I want Peace on earth, I am going to have to cultivate Peace within.
We can't want Peace, + then argue with loved ones, stress out, or blame ourselves for ways we've fallen short. This is the opposite of Peace.
So, I've been busy creating a new Menu of Self-Care: extra bike rides to the beach w/ fig foraging, mid-day ocean swims (fully clothed if necessary! ;)) + my new favorite, Aloe Smoothies w/ greens (+ aloe) from my backyard!!
I've been feeling AMAZING, + literally, like magic, it seems like the more I play (+ give), the more abundance falls into my life.
I'm so excited about the Aloe Smoothie + the energy it's giving me, that I made a Youtube video about it.
Watch it here. Oh... and Part 2 is coming next time!
It's amazing that when we eat foods grown in our own backyard (or local area), we literally feel more grounded, + loved by Mother Nature.
Everyone has different foods that work for them: what is the equivalent of your aloe smoothie? (aka. What is on your Menu of Self-Care right now? Food or Lifestyle?)
Also, do you have any techniques to Stay Positive in the midst of Crazy Times? What can you do, when challenged, to cultivate Peace within, + Shine Your Positivity out to the world?
Feel free to reply in the comments below + tell me about them!
With Love + Beauty + Divine Surrender,

P.S. I have a few spaces available for Private Coaching, beginning the month of August 2014.
Here's what some clients have to say:
"Simply put, Debra is serendipity. She is quite possibly the most down-to-earth person I know, and the most in-sync and in-touch coach I've ever had.
She listens for who I really am and for what I truly desire, and has this way of bringing great things out of me in a series of seemingly self-developed "ah-ha" moments, as Oprah would could them.
Debra's spirit shines bright and every call with her lights me up.
She always speaks the truth and has a knack for bringing it out in me as well.
After being in a pessimistic slump, she highlighted my real passions and helped me cultivate ways to practically pursue them. I've probably had my most productive job search week yet (and thanks to Debra's guidance, it didn't involve any tooth pulling)!
Thanks, Debra for sharing your wonderful energy, intuition, vibrance, and serendipity!" ~ Naseem G.
"Wow. Just after my first coaching session I am feeling uber empowered to FULLY step into the most powerful, awesome & effective version of myself!
Debra gracefully held a safe and contained space in which intuition & flow were welcomed and at the same time actionably addressed - tying ALL topics back into a cohesive session!
I left with a renewed sense of energy to TAKE ON the exciting challenges in my life that I had beforehand been feeling overwhelmed with.
I know that with continued sessions with her, the doors to my inner bravery box will fly open, empowering me to fully transcend my fears into great sources of power, strength, & wisdom!" ~ Haley Sharack, HaleySharack.com
"Debra took me on a remarkable journey of transformation. She is very insightful and knew exactly what I need to support me in my goals. Not only did she help me discover new ways of eating, she also helped me discover myself. Thank you Debra for your great gift of transformation!" ~ F.B.

"I met Robin Williams this past year + shook his hand while on the set of The Crazy Ones. What a blessing to meet him at this time. I will say, though, there is no glamour in suicide. We need you + all light beings at this time. If you're struggling, please reach out. Drink a green juice + get some exercise... get a hug... write a gratitude list. Stand up for your passions, surround yourself with positive people, take yourself out on a date. I used to struggle with depression + changing my FOOD + THOUGHTS helped immensely. ♡ Sending Love + Earth Healing Light ~ What we don't deal with here, we take with us into the Next Life ~ Choose Wisely, my friends. ♡ There is so much healing here for YOU. ♡"
